Asaf Ferber, M.D.
Dr. Asaf Ferber was born in Rishon Le-Zion, Israel. After fulfilling his duties in the Israeli Army, he started studying in Hadassah Medical School at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Between 1993 and 1999, he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva and earned an Israeli board certification in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Ferber was invited for a research fellowship in high risk pregnancies at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He spent two and a half years doing research with Professor Michael Divon. Their studies were published and presented in multiple professional journals and conferences. For this research, he received the professional degree of Clinical Assistant Professor at Down State University. At the same time, Dr. Ferber was invited to complete an American residency, from which he graduated in 2005. Thereafter, he was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Since then, Dr. Ferber is a partner at our practice, specializing in the broad spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, with an emphasis on his main passion of maternal-fetal medicine.
